Privacy Policy

1. Overview

TradeRope (“we”, “us”) operates a trade journaling and analytics service. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. By using TradeRope, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account information: Email address and account credentials required to create and maintain your account.
  • Trading records you upload: CSV files you import (trade, order, transaction, and position history). This data is used solely to provide analysis and review features within your account.
  • Usage data: Technical logs necessary to operate, monitor, and improve the Service (e.g., page views, error logs).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the TradeRope Service
  • Generate behavioral analysis and review summaries from your uploaded trading records
  • Maintain account security
  • Improve the Service (aggregated, anonymized usage data only)

We do not use your trading data to generate investment advice, trading signals, or recommendations for any party.

4. Data Storage

Uploaded files are stored using object storage, and relational data (accounts, trades, analysis results) is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. Both are operated in accordance with their respective security standards.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or trading records. We may share data only with service providers necessary to operate TradeRope (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers), and only under strict data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

To delete your account and all of its data, contact us through “Submit feedback” in the product or by email; we complete it within 7 business days. See our Contact page for the address.

After deletion we keep a single non-reversible record marking that the email address has already used a free trial: you can sign up again with the same address, but without another free trial period.
