Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026 · Effective from your first use of the Service
In short: TradeRope is an analytics tool for reviewing your own trades. It does not provide investment advice, does not trade on your behalf and does not promise any trading outcome; your trading decisions are yours, and so are their consequences.
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and the operator of TradeRope (“we”, “us”) governing your use of the TradeRope website, application and related services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service provides
TradeRope is a trade review and behavior analysis tool. Based on the historical trade data you import, the Service provides trade replay, PNL and behavior statistics, pattern research and similar features for personal learning and for reviewing your trading behavior.
The Service expressly does not provide any of the following:
- Investment advice, financial advice or personalized buy / sell recommendations of any kind;
- Buy / sell instructions, copy trading or trading on your behalf;
- Brokerage, custody, deposits or withdrawals, or any operation involving your assets;
- Promises of gains or of any trading outcome;
- Forecasts of future prices.
All charts, statistics, signal track records and research conclusions shown by the Service are analyses of historical data, meant only for personal review and learning, and are not investment advice. See the risk disclosure.
3. Subscriptions, trial and billing
- Accounts are created by self-service sign-up; a 14-day full-feature free trial starts right after sign-up, with no payment method required;
- After the trial you can choose to subscribe: two tiers (Standard / Pro), monthly or yearly, billed in USD; prices and what each tier includes are as shown in the Pricing section;
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel; you can cancel at any time under “Billing” in the product, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, until which you keep full access;
- Subscriptions and payments are handled and invoiced by a third-party payment provider (currently Creem) acting as Merchant of Record, which also handles refunds: a first subscription can be fully refunded, no questions asked, within 14 days, once per person (determined by account, payment method and linked exchange account), and the subscription ends once the refund is completed;
- An accidental renewal charge is refunded in full if reported within 72 hours; mid-term cancellation of an annual plan is not pro-rated by default; requests outside these cases are reviewed case by case (see the refund policy);
- If a trial ends without a subscription, or a subscription expires without renewal, the account becomes read-only — the data you have imported stays viewable and new data collection stops;
- Price changes are announced in advance and never apply to subscription periods already completed; features, interface and APIs may change, and we give advance notice of any major change that affects data you have imported.
4. Account and security
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to sign up for and use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and credentials, and for activity under your account. If you notice unauthorized use, contact us immediately. You confirm that your sign-up and use comply with the laws of your jurisdiction; if the laws where you are located prohibit this kind of service, do not use it. The Service is not available in mainland China or other regions that restrict virtual-asset services.
5. Your data and license
The trade data you import belongs to you. To provide the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process and display that data to the extent needed to run the Service. We do not sell your data; how it is processed is described in the privacy policy.
6. Exchange connections and third-party services
The Service obtains your trade data from CSV files you upload or from read-only API keys you provide, and uses third-party market data. Provide read-only API keys only: when you connect a key we check its permissions, and keys with trading, withdrawal or account transfer permissions are rejected.
The accuracy, completeness and availability of data from exchanges and other third-party sources are outside our control; an exchange changing or discontinuing its API, or restricting access, may cause missing data or interrupted syncing. Payments, email and cloud infrastructure are provided by third-party service providers, whose own terms may also apply when you use those parts of the Service.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Service in any way (including abusive API calls or scraping other users' data);
- Attempt unauthorized access to the Service's systems or to other users' data;
- Use the Service for any unlawful activity, or to distribute malware;
- Package the Service's analytical output as investment advice and sell or distribute it to others.
8. Intellectual property
The intellectual property in the Service's software, interface, copy and analytical methods (excluding your data) belongs to us. Without written permission you may not copy, decompile or redistribute them, or use them to provide a competing service.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor any warranty as to the completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose of any analysis result. Market and account data may contain gaps or delays; we commit to labeling gaps truthfully, but we do not warrant that there are none.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading losses, loss of earnings or other indirect losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. You understand and agree that your trading decisions are made independently by you, and that you bear the corresponding risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Major changes are announced in advance in the product or by email; continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service, cancel your subscription (see section 3) and request deletion of your account at any time. If you seriously breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate the Service for you; after termination, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
The governing law and dispute-resolution mechanism for these Terms will be specified in a future version of these Terms. Until then, both parties will seek to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation.
